The Boardroom Governance Summit is a high-level, multi-sectoral platform dedicated to advancing ethical leadership, institutional stewardship, and excellence in long-term governance. It brings together board chairpersons, non-executive directors, CEOs, policymakers, regulators, development partners, and thought leaders to engage in meaningful dialogue and share practical insights on boardroom effectiveness and impact.

To foster a new generation of ethically grounded, forward-thinking board leaders who are committed to institutional integrity, intergenerational value creation, and sustainable socio-economic transformation across Africa.
4. Historical Context
The inaugural Boardroom Governance Summit was held in 2024, attracting just under 1,000 C-suite executives and board leaders from across the public and private sectors. The resounding success of this first gathering underscored the urgent need for sustained, high-level engagement on boardroom governance as a cornerstone of national and continental development.
5. Long-Term Goal
To become Africa’s premier convening platform for transformative boardroom dialogue shaping national policies, strengthening corporate governance cultures, and building a trusted community of high-impact board leaders who drive industrialisation, economic integration, and the realisation of Africa’s long-term development goals, including Agenda.
